Delete your account

How to request deletion

To delete your Within Cooee account and all associated data, send an email to hello@withincooee.app from the email address registered to your account.

Use the subject line: Account deletion request.

We process deletion requests within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once your account has been removed.

What will be deleted

When your account is deleted, the following are permanently removed:

• Your account profile (display name, email, profile photo)
• Your favorited sites and saved trips
• Photos you've uploaded to site listings
• Reviews and reports you've submitted
• Your push notification token
• Captured badges and badge history

What may be retained

For legal, security, and abuse-prevention purposes, we may retain limited information in anonymised form for up to 12 months:

• Aggregate usage statistics (no personal identifiers)
• Audit logs of policy violations or suspended-account history
• Backup records that age out of our backup rotation within 90 days

These records cannot be tied back to your account once your profile data is removed.

Partial data deletion

If you want to delete only some content (for example, a single photo or review) rather than your entire account, mention which content in your email and we'll remove just that.
